These fun brain games are great for all ages! As you try to solve these brain-twisting teasers, you'll have to draw upon your vocabulary, spelling and even addition skills. You'll really give your brain a workout!
Work on your own, or with a friend or family member to see how many questions in each set you can solve. Don't worry, answers are provided!
I like to call this type of brain exercise Dollar Dictionary Games. Why? Because you use letters and their "values" to solve each brain teaser.
Each letter is assigned a value based on its position in the alphabet as shown in this chart.
Here are a few sample questions to show you to solve these fun brain games.
1) Find the value of a BAT. ( 2 + 1 + 20 = $23)
2) Find the value of a BALL. (2 + 1 + 12 + 12 = $27)
3) Which is worth more, a TOY or a GAME?
( A toy, because TOY = 20 + 15 + 25 = $60, GAME = 7 + 1 + 13 + 5 = $26)
4) Finish spelling this animal. __ + R + O + __ = $46
(FROG : 6 + 18 + 15 + 7 = 46)
